The Yellow Wall
The Südtribüne is football's largest terrace — 25,000 standing fans, banked steep, choreographed flag displays and a wall of yellow that genuinely changes the home advantage. Tickets are released through the official site and disappear in minutes.
For Champions League matches, the South Stand is reseated to ~13,500, reducing total capacity to ~65,000. The atmosphere remains exceptional.
Getting to Signal Iduna Park
Take the U45 or U46 from Dortmund Hbf to Stadion station — a 12-minute trip. On matchday, home and away tickets include free VRR public transport.
Pre-match drinks happen in the city centre or at Borussenstüble near the ground. After the game, the trams back to the centre are packed but fast.
