Borussia Dortmund's home is the famous Yellow Wall — the Südtribüne at Signal Iduna Park (Westfalenstadion). It is the largest terrace in European football and one of the most spectacular sights in the sport.
This guide covers how to get BVB tickets, getting to Dortmund, where to stay and how to plan a matchday around the Yellow Wall.

Tickets
BVB tickets are extremely popular and most public-sale games sell out fast. The fan-shop online sale is the cheapest route. Hospitality packages through Dortmund's official site offer guaranteed seats for visiting fans.
Standing on the Südtribüne is only available for domestic matches; for Champions League, the South Stand is reseated.
Why visit Signal Iduna Park
Standing on (or watching) the Yellow Wall is one of the great football experiences. 25,000 supporters in motion, choreographies that take weeks to prepare, and a noise level that genuinely changes the home advantage.
Add a 65 cent train ride from Dortmund Hbf, a brewery tour, and a German-pricing matchday — Bundesliga has the cheapest top-flight football in Europe — and a BVB weekend is one of the best-value football trips on the continent.
Matchday in Dortmund
Take the U45 or U46 from Dortmund Hbf to Stadion station — around 12 minutes. On matchday, tickets to home games include free public transport on the VRR network.
Pre-match drinks happen in the city centre (Strobels, Wenkers brewery, Borussenstüble near the ground). After the game, the trams back to the centre are packed but quick.
